Samsung Galaxy S22 series with 25W fast charging support clears 3C certification
Samsung is preparing for the launch of the Galaxy S22 series smartphones. The next Galaxy S22 range is expected to consist of three devices, namely the Vanilla Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra. We have already seen renderings of these smartphones thanks to several leaks in the last few days. Additionally, the Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus smartphones were spotted at Geekbench a few weeks ago. The Geekbench listing had revealed the possible hardware specifications of these phones before launch. Now, Galaxy S22 series smartphones have received 3C certification in China. The 3C listing reveals the model number and confirms the charging capacity of these handsets before the official launch.
Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, S22 Ultra receives 3C certification
According to the 3C certification list, we can see that all three Galaxy S22 series devices will have support for 25W fast charging and 5G connectivity. These smartphones appeared on the 3C certification website with model numbers SM-S9010, SM-S9060 and SM-S9080 respectively. Other than the load capacity and model number, the 3C certification does not disclose any other details about these handsets. The past leak suggests that the Galaxy S22 will feature a 6.06-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 898 SoC, while in some markets the smartphone is said to be launched with the Exynos 2200 chipset.
As for the imaging department, the S22 is expected to feature a tri-camera setup that is supposed to include 50MP, 12MP, and 10MP camera sensors. As for the specifications of the S22 Plus, this particular device is said to have a 6.5-inch AMOLED display. The device may have a tri-camera setup which may consist of a GN5 50MP sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens. As for the specs of the S22 Ultra model, it could debut with a larger 6.8-inch AMOLED display. The display panel is said to offer a higher refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone is rumored to have a four-camera setup. The rest of the key features that all of these handsets are supposed to include are an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP68 rating, stereo speakers, and Qi wireless charging support.
